I got a bit of catching up to do!

Which DJ had the Best Album This Year? DJ Kay Slay, DJ Khaled or DJ Drama?

Over the year, popular DJs have dropped collaboration albums under their synonymous name to portray their ability to rock the turntables and sound boards. This has happened all throughout hip hop history with greats like DJ Kool Herc, Grandmaster Flash and DJ Premier. Then there are DJs who were the sole reason for certain hip hop acts to become legends in the game from Jam Master Jay of Run DMC, Mix Master Mike of the Beastie Boys and DJ Jazzy Jeff for Will Smith. Now in this day and age, its common to hear about a DJ endorsed mixtape for artists to garner street credibility before the artist drops their actual album. In this day and age, certain DJs have essentially become their own artist by dropping albums with their name on it. This year, some of the top DJs in the game have put in work and have made some killer projects. But the question is, who killed it the most?

These DJs will be rated based on production, the collaborations put forth and overall project quality.  These aren't reviewed based on lyrical content because these albums aren't meant to be lyrical based, but just production and record wise.

Top 5 Albums of 2012...Who Made Eh-P's List?

There were a lot of solid artists that dropped projects in 2012. A lot of success for hip hop and a clear shift to lyricism has made itself known with the younger generation of MCs taking over.  So which albums did it for me? Well before I drop that list, I should give props to the artists who dropped albums that didn't quite make my list, but we're extremely well made projects. I consider these albums some of the best albums of 2012...but not in the top 10. This means go grab them immediately (linked to reviews written by me and other external websites).
