Kendrick Lamar - Ronald Reagan Era ft. Rza

This dude is absolutely amazing. And he's totally flying under the radar right now. Doing his production with Dr. Dre on a good portion of his music and coming straight outta Compton. CRANK THIS JOINT IMMEDIATELY!

50 Cent - Outlaw

Supposedly this is the first track off of 50 Cent's new album which he says to be dropping soon...typical 50 joint

Curren$y - This is the Life

Weekend at Bernie's dropping June 28th...

Wale - Lacefrontin'

More music from the front runner of Maybach Music...this song is pretty dope...gon lace up my new Supra's with this joint

The Game - Bottles and Rockin J's ft. Busta Rhymes, DJ Khaled, Fabolous, Rick Ross and Lil' Wayne

This song is so stupid. The dude dropped an unreal mixtape...just killed the mixtape game and then I wasn't made at the Red Nation joint either. But then you drop garbage like this...come on SON! The only good part of this song is Busta Rhymes just killing it. If you honestly took the first minute or two minutes, then that's all you need. But Game...please give me some of that classic Dr. Dre shit. Not this Lex Luger crap.

Thank god I got the Bad Meets Evil and can ignore this shizzit.

Rapsody - Black Diamond ft. Raekwon

For the first time, I am actually waiting for a female's album. This is going to be a dope one...June 21st

Wayback Playback - 2Pac - Hail Mary/Thugz Mansion

RIP 2Pac...dude's birthday today. Also in related news, someone decided to man up and took the blame for shooting 2Pac...about time.

His mixtape is being retail released...but that's not the only thing. Dude has been working with the likes of Kanye and Jay-Z on the Watch the Throne EP.

This dude is going to make fire on joints you will be hearing real soon

Chris Brown - Real Hip Hop Shit #2 (Video)

Chris Brown X Hudson Mohawke - Real Hip Hop Shit #2 from Mechanical Dummy on Vimeo.

Chris Brown is a talented singer, dancer and actor...but his rapping is a bit suspect. But then I listen to this and in the small time he became comfortable spitting, he's getting better...I ain't mad at that...I'll give props to someone who is trying even if it is not super lyrical.

CyHi Da Prynce - Royal Flush 2 (Mixtape)

Tell-A-Vision Ep. 2 - Making Of Royal Flush 2 from Decatur Dan on Vimeo.

And now its time for G.O.O.D. Music to start showing off the talent they have on their label...with Big Sean on the way, CyHi Da Prynce dropped by to say what's up with his new mixtape

UGK - Grippin' on the Wood ft. Big K.R.I.T.

With the release of the late Pimp C dropping on July 12, the collabos are coming to be on the album in tribute of one of the members of UGK.

Album Review: Bad Meets Evil - Hell: The Sequel

So a while back I explained how amazing of a collaboration this was going to be...and why? These guys were up and coming MCs in Detroit and when Eminem hit it big under the mentoring of Dr. Dre, Eminem blew up and became the most successful rapper in the game. I ain't saying he's the best rapper of all time (but even this can be debated) but the dude is the most known within pop culture and his music is permeated everywhere due to the outlandish antics he had as his alter-ego Slim Shady.

But people who knew Slim Shady knew of his counterpart, Royce Da 5'9", who had the same flow and lyrical ability...and this combination was known as Bad vs. Evil. Initially on Eminem's first album, a song called Bad Meets Evil came out and the hip hop junkies craved it

And then people started seeing Detroit stand up. D-12 was brought to the mainstream with great applause and then people saw Royce bounce up and come out with this bad boy...with Eminem in lieu...

But then something happened. Eminem signed dudes named 50 Cent and Obie Trice, but he didn't sign Royce. Both of those dudes hit the mainstream with a boom selling platinum plaques and Royce wasn't given the nod from Shady...so then Royce got a bit salty. How you going to front on your best friend like that? Adding more fuel to an explosive alcohol problem. Then words were exchanged, and some of the greatest diss tracks I have ever heard were created (Check out Malcolm X by Royce...its fiyahh!

Then this Bad Meets Evil deal seemed more like fantasy. Then after Proof was murdered, a lull was set on the Detroit Hip Hop scene because Proof was the reason that most of the cats out of Detroit (including Eminem and Royce) ever became popular. The beef was squashed, and then people thought maybe something would happen >>Fast Forward to Royce's critics raved Bar Exam mixtape series and work with DJ Premier and Eminem's claim to fame as one of the greatest MCs and rappers of all time. Royce, Joe Budden, Crooked I and Joell Ortiz used the internet and created a supergroup of the hottest most known unknowns and set the world on fire with their EP...and then the news hit...SHADY SIGNS SLAUGHTERHOUSE!

Then people said will it happen? Will it happen? After a few leaks, yes it happened and now we got an EP that will go down as one of the most anticipated music collabos in hip hop.

What's the verdict you ask? Well upon listening to the 9 songs and 2 bonus tracks for the last week, I can easily say that every track is money. The lyrical content in every single track is not only witty (cause you see the Slim Shady come out of the new, clean Eminem) but a deeper story is told in every track. For too long has the game been vandalized by douchebaggery talking about how I got Louis Vuitton bags in my Murcialago as I sit eating Caviar off the coast of Acapulco...that rap sucks but how many of your "favorite" MCs, use the lines.

Let me give you a play by play. Fast Lane is a track just flooding your eardrums with unreal speed and lyrical content that paints a picture with words of absolute creativity, with the video outlining the awesomeness. Then you got the Bruno Mars' assisted track Lighters which is more of a poppy feel (which got the internet wondering...um dude WTF?) but it doesn't let go of  the talent that these two have. You need to understand, this is Royce's real coming out party so he needs to show his entire catalog of talent...so this track is more of a deeper meaning which shows you what he offers. Just look at what Royce spits
By the time you hear this I’ll probably already be outtie
I advance like going from toting iron to going and buying 4 or 5 of the homies the iron man Audi
My daddy told me slow down, boy, you goin to blow it
And I aint gotta stop the beat a minute
To tell Shady I love him the same way that he did Dr Dre on the Chronic
Tell him how real he is or how high I am
Or how I would kill for him for him to know it
I cried plenty tears, my daddy got a bad back
So it’s only right that I right till he can march right into that post office and tell em to hang it up
Now his career’s Lebron’s jersey in 20 years
I’ll stop when I’m at the very top
You shitted on me on your way up
It’s ’bout to be a scary drop
Cause what goes up must come down
You going down on something you don’t wanna see like a hairy box
Every hour, happy hour now
Life is wacky now
Used to have to eat the cat to get the pussy
Now I’m just the cats meooww, ow

Classic cow, always down for the catch weight like Pacquiao
Ya’ll are doomed
I remember when T-Pain aint wanna work with me
My car starts itself, parks itself and autotunes
Cause now I’m in the Aston
I went from having my city locked up
To getting treated like Kwame Kilpatrick
And now I’m fantastic
Compared to a weed high
And y’all niggas just gossipin’ like bitches on a radio and TV
See me, we fly
Y’all buggin out like Wendy Williams staring at a bee-hive
And how real is that
I remember signing my first deal and now I’m the second best I can deal with that
Now Bruno can show his ass, without the MTV awards gag
The dude speaks so much. How he is happy sitting back behind Em and the success he's garnered and what that means to him. About what he's been through and the T-Pain line speaks VOLUMES! How many of those MCs you see on TV and hear on the radio could ever even think of a line like that.

Then there's Kiss...probably the most controversial track on the EP. Lady Gaga fans have reacted on Twitter to the outlandish comments Em made on the track...
Middle finger stuck on f*ck, stiff pants
But girl you got a butt like no if ands
So can with the hell, maybe, oh hell, Shady, he'll tell it like it is
So tell Katie Perry he's on the tail, he's tailgating still bating
These bells are my maiden call and I'm here, bell's raiding and tell Lady
Gaga, she can quit her job at the post office, she's still a male lady
Wouldn't f*ck her with her d*ck you heard, the verdict
Seein' he's allergic to divas, and take meat cleavers to 'em
Him don't give a damn about Beaver do him?
What a demon, a behemoth, evil just seems to be seething through him
Slim Shady came back and that male lady line...oh my God!

The music and production is phenomenal...everything from Bangladesh (known for the A Milli beat and What's Your Fantasy for Ludacris) to homegrown Mr. Porter of D12 to the pumping bass of Mobb Deep's Havoc. The songs are witty, creative, lyrically astounding, controversial but over all just phenomenal...and its only the beginning. Shady Records is bringing back super lyrical being cool and being amazing. Now I am not saying being super lyrical means great hip hop (cause Canibus sucks donkey dick). But what I am saying is being able to tell stories and talk about issues and rapping about tangible and real things besides bitches, money, drugs and things you spend your money on...then that's what hip hop is all about. A form of poetry to speak to the masses...hell I ain't going to front on a hot beat and repeatable lines but take heed...Bad Meets Evil is a menace to the game and if you sleep on your craft, you about to get stepped on and then fed to the minions of the internet memes.

I want to soooooooo badly give this a Ximena...the definition of le sex...but because it is only an EP of 9 tracks and 2 bonus joints, I can't garner that for this album. Its fucking awesome...but just too short. I want more...and I can't wait to see Eminem, Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf, Cashis and D12 to come at it...and the albums these kids will drop will get the Ximena...but for now we got an Aishwariya! COP THE EP! GO BUY IT NOW!
